Host your unique birthday party experience at Studio by Garden Streets!  We can accommodate both adult and children's birthday parties (6 and up) in Boston.  Please read on for our available packages.

Private Birthday Party Package

This package is designed for groups that want a dedicated space just for themselves.  Your party will be hosted in our private workshop space with a dedicated staff member.  You can bring food and beverage or we can help to arrange catering for you.  You can also arrive 30min earlier to decorate the room (nothing permanent please).  

Group Size:  10 - 20 attendees

Room rental fee:  $250 for a 2-hour block.  If the party is for young children (10 and under), we ask that enough adults be present to maintain a 4:1 child-to-adult ratio.  If that's not possible, we have additional assistants available at $80 / assistant for the duration of the party.
Activity fee:  This depends on the activity.  Contact us for details or check out our walk-in and workshop pages to see the range of options.  We can customize and mix-and-match activities for you!

Food & Bev:  We can arrange catering or you can bring your own. $100 cleaning fee.

Walk-in Birthday Party Package 

Our walk-in birthday party package is perfect for tweens and teens.  In this arcade-style experience, everyone gets a gift card and can choose to use it on any one of our +20 walk-in DIY experiences or shop in the store.  A dedicated staff member will ensure that everyone has a great time!

Walk-in DIY experiences include:

  • Accessory Making Party - Friendship Bracelets, Necklaces, Hairbands
  • Diamond Painting
  • Pencil Case Fabric Painting
  • Sand Art
  • Mini-Easel Painting

Group Size:  5-9.  If your group is larger than 9, please check out the private room birthday party package.

Dedicated staff fee:  $100 for a 2-hour block
Per Person:  We recommend $30 / person to start for each person.  This would allow for an average of 2 small DIY activities per person or 1 activity plus shopping for fun stickers, candies and more.  $50 / person would allow for larger DIY projects for each person.

Food & Bev:  The walk-in party is held in the public section of the store and food & beverage is not allowed in this space.  We recommend that the party enjoy the many food and beverage options in the food court on the first floor, which is a convenient escalator ride away.  If you would like to have food & bev, please check out the Private Party Package above.

I have a group of 12. Should I do a private event or simply purchase tickets to a workshop?
For parties, we recommend booking the space to celebrate privately.  You can also buy workshop tickets and come together but we won't be able to accommodate serving cake or decorating for publicly run classes. There is also the risk of the workshop selling out.

How far in advance should I book for a private event?
Bookings are reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis.  We recommend reaching out as early as possible to reserve the best time for your group.  That said, 2 weeks advanced notice is usually adequate. 

Is there an age limit to attend the workshops?
We currently only host for ages 6 and up but younger children are allowed to join as long as they have full time supervision from an adult. 

Can I get a refund if my private event needs to be rescheduled?
We offer full refunds and reschedules if you let us know at least 1 weeks prior to the event.  If you have fewer attendees than expected, we would only charge you for those who attend or the minimum for the event, whichever is greater.

Can we 'buy out' the whole shop for a private event?
