FAQs

That depends on the experience that you're looking for. Workshops are open to the public so you'll likely be joined with other people outside of your group. If you're looking to keep it just between your group, a private workshop is the way to go! Simply send us a message on the Contact Us form to get started.

Yes, we have a minimum of 10 attendees per private workshop. This includes exclusive use of the workshop space and dedicated host and staff assistant to ensure your event goes seamlessly. Prices vary depending on the event. Contact Us to check availability and get a quote.

We release workshop dates up to 1 month in advance, so you can find the best times for you. If there's a specific time and date that you're looking for, please Contact Us and we can see what we can do!

All our workshops are designed to be accessible to a broad audience of ages 12 and up. Younger children are also welcome to join caregivers in workshops as long as they are supervised.

We are nature and animal lovers here! As long as your pup is a good canine citizen (friendly, non-aggressive, no excessive barking), they are welcome to join you.

Yes, you should have a printed guide from the workshop to take home, but we are happy to email you another copy. Just Contact Us and let us know your email address!

All our locations feature local artisanal products and hands-on workshops. Our Chicago location is approximately 1,200 sqft and has a max workshop capacity of 25. Our Boston location is 3,500 sqft and has a max workshop capacity of 40-50 and somewhat larger retail area.

Please Contact Us ASAP and we will work with you to get you into the right workshop.

To ensure we have the freshest materials for your workshop, we kindly ask that you register at least 48 hours in advance, especially for the seasonal and holiday themed workshops.

We offer full refunds and reschedules up to 48 hours prior to a workshop.

Yes, please Contact Us!

We're happy to ship materials to your new location and charge the shipping and handling fee to you. However, our in-person workshop hosts are focused on the in-person attendees. We can share an instructional video with the materials so you can still complete the project on your own time.

Fun and cute!

It was a nice afternoon spending time learning how to knit a blanket. I will definitely make another one at home. Ally was a great teacher! Patient and nice.

So fun and helpful

The class was great and the staff was really helpful. I showed up late and they quickly go me caught up. I didn't finish and the staff sent an email with directions.

Lots of fun!

I really enjoyed this workshop! I have never been very good at fiber arts, but the instruction (with live video) was easy to follow. The Studio is also super-cool, I didn’t realize they had a fully-outfitted shop! Lots of cool things for sale. The class was a little congested, since blanket-making requires space, so another table to use might help. My three critiques would be to 1) send students a reminder email shortly before class. The only follow up I received was a digital receipt, and that was a month-and-a-half prior to the class. 2) give students information on where to find the shop and where to park. I recognized the address on the website as the Galeria Mall, and correctly guessed the closest parking area in the garage, but someone who was new to the mall might not. 3) provide some sort of written breakdown of the steps to follow to do the craft. Lots of folks didn’t finish the project during the class and it’d be great to have something to refer to to comtinue working at home. Overall, I really enjoyed this class and will definitely do another!
